BRIAN BATES
Born and bred in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Brian Bates proudly represents the fourth generation of locals from the Centennial State. After tossing his graduation cap at Golden High School in ’91, Brian felt the call to carry on the family legacy of military service. The Army became his new home, following in the footsteps of his grandfather (WW2), father (Vietnam War), and brother (Desert Storm), not to mention a whole bunch of uncles and cousins.
In ’92, love took center stage when Brian tied the knot with Rhondi, and off they went to Germany, where their son entered the picture. Brian wrapped up his military chapter in ’96, steering his career towards the automotive world. Starting as a technician at Planet Honda, he also juggled textbooks at Metro State University of Denver, delving into Business Management.
Their family grew once more in ’97 with the arrival of a daughter, bringing a sense of déjà vu at the very same Lutheran Hospital where Brian first saw the light of day 24 years earlier. Brian’s academic endeavors paid off, and he proudly secured a degree in Business Management in 2000. Armed with an ASE L1 Master Technician certification and an AAM designation, Brian became a force in the automotive industry.
In 2004, the entrepreneurial bug bit, leading him to purchase his first shop in Columbine Hills, conveniently close to home. Fast forward to today, and Brian is the proud owner of 11 more shops scattered around town.
However, beyond the hustle and bustle of business, Brian’s most cherished roles are those of a parent and family man. His kids have ventured into their own paths, building careers and families. Brian is more than a successful businessman; he’s a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and a reliable friend to the Denver front-range community.
When he’s not immersed in work, you’ll find Brian embracing the lighter side of life. Whether it’s snow skiing, fishing, boating, sailing, wakeboarding, 4-wheeling, or just kicking back on a beach with a Coors Light in hand, surrounded by family and friends, Brian Bates brings a unique blend of service, success, and a touch of adventure to the vibrant tapestry of the Denver community.
